The downfall of an Atlanta Company

Earthlink Layoffs - Act 3

Once again, Earthlink is attempting to cut its way to proifitability instead of being innovative and trying to build on their greatest strength...good employees. I left in early 2004 along with other friends I work with now at ISS. We were bought by the big blue machine but are glad not to be a part of this mess of a company on 17th and Peachtree in Atlanta. I feel bad for those that stayed but the writing has been on the wall for a long time.

yea, it's definitely been coming. i understand their need to cut costs, but cutting staff won't reduce the number of problems they have. they need to cut dead weight (voice, helio) and shut down the good old boys club, start doing things customer oriented. novel concept!
